My wife and I stayed at Kiani Apartments when we visited Crete in the summer of ‘22 and it was a wonderful experience !
The apartment was newly renovated, clean, comfy, had everything we needed and the host Nikos was super welcoming and helpful!
The area itself was beautiful with the property being right next to where river Koiliaris meets the sandy Kiani beach.
There is also a great restaurant and a coffee shop conveniently located a few steps away from everything, but for anyone wanting to venture out, Kiani apartments is only a few minute drive from beautiful Kalyves village and a 20 minute drive from the old historic city of Chania.
Great appartement, amazing people and excellent location. This is our new go to place for our summer vacation!

We stayed at Kiani Apartments in July 2024 and had a fantastic experience. The apartment was clean and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The fully equipped kitchen was a great convenience, although it’s worth noting that there is no microwave oven. The air conditioning kept the apartment cool, and the wireless internet and Smart TV added to our comfort.
The location is excellent, with a cozy café and a great restaurant right next to the apartment, perfect for lunch and dinner. For breakfast, we enjoyed a delightful meal at the GK restaurant by the river. A well-stocked SYNKA supermarket is just a 10-minute walk away, making it easy to pick up any essentials.
Our host, Nikos, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Overall, Kiani Apartments provided a great base for our vacation, and we would highly recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Great location adjacent to the beach with reserved parking.
The apartment was so clean and new with all the amenities we needed. We loved the restaurant next door run by the same family. Nikos and family are so responsive and take care of you like family.

Kiani Apts is located in a peaceful area near the seaside village of Kalyves, in the Apokoronas region, 20 kilometers from Chania and the airport. Situated right on the beach, with views of both the mountains and the sea, this beautiful resort offers the perfect setting for a relaxing beach holiday. It is 22 kilometers from the Venetian port of Chania and 10 kilometers from Souda port. Additionally, right next to Kiani Apts is the Kiliaris River, which originates near the village of Stylos in Apokoronas and flows into the beach of Kiani Akti, near Kalyves. With a length of 5 kilometers, it is the second-largest river by water flow on the island of Crete.
